Dr. Anna Tarabrina is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in the state of California. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Molecular Biology from San Diego State University in 2013. While getting her Bachelor’s degree, she did a year-long internship through the California Institute of Regenerative Medicine (CIRM) Stem Cell Research Program and participated in the neuronal “maps” modeling of the olfactory system in the Gage Laboratory of Genetics at the Salk Institute in La Jolla. Her research findings were published in the Journal of Neuroscience. Dr. Tarabrina received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in San Diego, CA in 2017. Dr. Tarabrina believes in the body’s inherent ability to heal. Dr. Tarabrina concentrates on the elimination of the symptoms by addressing the underlying causes of a problem and incorporates diagnostic laboratory testing, physical exams, and advanced comprehensive evaluations to thoroughly assess patients’ health and develop a personalized treatment plan. Her primary focus is the treatment and prevention of chronic conditions like diabetes, cardiovascular disease, digestive disorders (IBS, GERD), and hormonal imbalances. Dr. Tarabrina incorporates nutritional supplementation, bio-identical hormone replacement, botanical medicine, craniosacral therapy, injectable micronutrient therapy, detoxification, natural weight loss, and lifestyle and diet counseling into her practice. She is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the Institute of Functional Medicine and the International Association of Functional Neurology and Rehabilitation.
